I spent a decade rushing through life, trying to please everyone while ignoring my own needs. 

Until my body took a stand to demand it. Years of people-pleasing, unspoken words, and suppressed emotions finally manifested as Rosacea, an incurable skin condition that forced me to retreat and reevaluate. After trying countless remedies that only worsened my mental and physical state, I realized my body was telling me what I’d been ignoring for so long: it was time to listen, to slow down, to honor my needs, create boundaries, and prioritize my own well-being.

What seemed like a burden became a wake-up call—an act of self-love from within, reminding me to return to presence, to take space for myself, and to speak my truth.

It was only when I truly listened I began to heal from the inside out.


But even as I committed to taking care of myself, I struggled to build a consistent habit. It wasn’t until I found the missing piece that everything started to shift.

In this 60 minute workshop you will receive transformational insights about the power of mindfulness, and how to bring it into your life with more ease, creating more space for yourself. We end with a powerful mindfulness meditation grounding you into the earth.

I first began learning from Sam during my very first yoga teacher training five years ago, and her therapeutic approach, her gentleness towards body and heart, and her wholesome approach is what still today is at the root of the yoga that I share. 

Sam teaches in the traditional Insight Meditation styles of concentration and open awareness while holding the space for practice with deep kindness and compassion. She has been practicing and teaching yoga since 1999, and is a Certified Mindfulness teacher, & mentor with MTI in Berkley, CA.

Debbie is a grief and loss facilitator, and certified intuitive writing guide. She is an expert in healing and processing trauma through writing, and has worked with organizations throughout Canada and Guatemala.

She inspires you to honor your intentions, tap into your life’s purpose and connect with your highest self. She invites you to journey into the vast depths of yourself, with compassion, awareness and without judgment. Connect with your inner voice, listen to your intuition and follow your passions.

I had the honor meeting and working with Deborah in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, and through her I was able to reconnect to my intuition, being able to allow my true feelings to surface and flow out on paper in my daily journaling sessions.

I have since studied more than 800 hours in yoga teacher trainings, feminine embodiment, and mindful living.

Nothing in my life has ever happened according to a plan. When I let go of overthinking, and surrender to my intuition and trusting that I know when the time is right to move or act, everything seems to flow and unfold. Reminding myself over and over to let go and feeling the fear yet doing it anyway, trusting what I know from within even if I can’t explain the why.

Yoga is relearning to trust this inner intelligence. Coming back into your body, back into the connection with your inner being.

After the moving meditation I often feel an inner peace which isnt there before and I get a glimpse of trusting my body and myself again.

I learned to come back to myself, to my senses, to write down my thoughts and let them out of my head, to feel emotions in a body and let them go through without harming me.
